I like the Angels who have won 15 of their last 19 games going up against the Brewers who are just 4-10 in their last 14 on the road and have gone on a 11-21 slump over their last 32 games during that span which they hit .239, and even worse .194 in their last 8 games.
Â
Randy Wolf will take the ball for the Brewers as he starts with an 8.27 ERA in his last 3. Heâs 2-4 with a 5.66 ERA on the road and 5.82 during night starts. Wolf had a start with the Dodgers vs. the Angels he gave up 10 hits in 6.1 IP and 4 ER. Heâll have to pitch better than that against the red hot Angels who are 12-4 in their last 16 inter league games vs. a LH starter. Angels have a .307 average over their last 10 games vs. LHP with 6.18 runs per 9 vs. LHP. Brewers have one of the worst bullpens as well despite them having a 2.76 ERA in their last 5 they have a 5.71 bullpen ERA on the road this year.
Â
Iâll back the team with the better starter in Joe Saunders and the hotter offense, and a team playing at home on normal time as the Brewers come west not used to playing this late.
